Candace Cameron Bure Shares Best Tip For Motherhood: Talk to God

Learn how the simple act of kindness can help you succeed.

Candace Cameron Bure, who we came to love as D.J. from “Full House,” recently appeared on the Don’t Mom Alone podcast. Here she shared the secret to her success as an accomplished actor, New York Times bestseller and most importantly a wife and mother of three. Cameron Bure credits her faith and relationship with Jesus Christ as the key to her success.

“Now sometimes I literally have to roll out of my bed and onto my knees every morning and start my day,” Cameron Bure told Heather MacFadyen, Don’t Mom Alone host. “I don’t feel connected if I don’t do that. But throughout my day I’m constantly having conversations with God.”

On the podcast she opens up about putting her career on hold to be a stay-at-home mom, as well as making the move to return to work.  As a Christian in the entertainment industry she has been faced with challenges, but living by the “kill them with kindness” rule has helped her overcome those difficult times. In her book, “Kind Is the New Classy” she inspires others to show grace and embrace the positive.

“...I would love for people to know Jesus because of me because I’ve shared a good word,” she said.
